They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But, while she looks cute, this photo made me realize I might wash the dishes way too much too often.
Goal: limit dishwashing to only 2 times a day, because the dishes are never really "done".

Every day he gets faster and more capable. Slowly he's grown out of being a baby and into a boy right before my eyes.
"Hey kids, act like y'all are asleep."
This is what I got:
We recently traveled to Azores. Go here for photos:

My baby girl looking so grown up.
Texas Bluebonnet season.
This is Isabelle.
2.5 years old.
Loves to wear bright colors.
Extremely giggly and wiggly.
Approach with caution.
Bubbles in the backyard! It's finally warm and dry enough to play outside ALL the time again, yet cool enough that the mosquitoes aren't around.
I have not posted in a very long time. The original attempt of this project was to get myself to photograph more so I could learn faster.
I am now learning even faster because I am doing A LOT of photographing. I got a freelance job in which I photograph newborns at a local hospital. Since new babies are born every day, I get to work around my schedule. I love my days there! Every family is different, every baby is different (yes, even newborns!), and it's such a challenge to get those quick precious moments on camera. I am not allowed to share any of those photos.
However, my photography has improved a lot. Now that the transition to this new gig has settled, I will be getting more sessions done with Kyle and the kids, and I will be posting more photos soon!!
Chabe's cute running :)
Her arms pump faster than her legs run. She's adorable <3. I could eat her cheeks.
The zoo. The kids love seeing their favorite animals in real life.
These photos from today are extra special to me. I have not seen this normal big smiling face of his all week because he's been miserably sick. His eyes finally un-puffed and most of the redness was gone, and he was finally acting like himself again. He played, yelled, sang, and ran around. Sister had missed him too and was happy to be playing again.
I'm so behind with this project. Work has been busy for Kyle and me, then we went to Steamboat, then JK came back very sick with ear infections in both ears so I've been busy with all that.
Awaiting to board the plane to Colorado.
Beautiful, quiet, snowy morning.
Last day in Steamboat.

Kyle's team won the game! The days are much warmer and sunnier this week, so all this stinky gear will finally get some fresh air outside the house!

Photo from a few months ago. He's my brave climber/jumper/swimmer/sprinter with a chipped tooth smile to show it. :)
Last week we were stuck inside because of the snow & icy roads that are too unfamiliar to Houstonians so it was just safer to stay home. The feeling was way too familiar since it seems like just yesterday we were confined to our home for almost a week due to the rain from Hurricane Harvey.
The series of photos below were taken within a 2 minute time frame during the Hurricane Harvey saga. K&I went from amazement to snuggles to "I'm outta here" so quickly. They left poor Kyle hanging.
Let's play with flash cards!
Dada I love you...
I'm so over this.
